The Gleneagle Hotel and Arena has led local tributes following the tragic death of Irish music icon Glen Hansard, who passed away this week at the age of 56.

The former frontman of The Frames and Academy Award-winning songwriter died in a motorcycle accident in Dublin on July 29. He had been due to perform a solo show at the Gleneagle Arena on Friday, November 6.
