Get footloose at 1980s disco fundraiser

I
IT’S time to pull up your legwarmers and disco dance your way back to the 1980s. All are welcome to a fun-filled evening in the Killarney Avenue Hotel on Friday, June 3, at 9.30pm.
All proceeds of the event will go to Holy Cross Mercy National School, with tickets, €10, available at the school and other local outlets.
Step back in time and remember the tunes from Madonna, Michael Jackson and Depeche Mode, to name but a few. “The event will run until late and a full bar exemption will be in place so strictly over 18s. 80s dress is optional,” said an organiser.
