German students on internships with local businesses

A group of 11 German students are on a work placement programme in Killarney
.
In a dynamic cross-cultural exchange, two teachers of English and Economics from the city of Wirtschaftsschule, Gunzenhausen, Germany, Tobias Heigl and Timo Schulz, have embarked on an enriching internship abroad through the Erasmus Exchange Programme.
Accompanying them are 11 eager students, each pursuing their own internships in various businesses and companies across the Killarney.
Utilising the services and supports that are available at the Killarney Innovation Centre, they will complete a range of programmes and projects broadening their experiences and expertise, building networking capabilities that will allow for the transfer of knowledge.
This exchange is made possible by the Killarney Town Twinning Association, an organisation committed to fostering international connections and cultural understanding.
The initiative not only aims to impart invaluable professional experiences but also seeks to immerse participants in the vibrant tapestry of Irish life and traditions.
Through hands-on involvement in diverse industries, from hospitality to corporate ventures, they're gaining insights that will shape their future career.
