Gaelscoil Faithleann spreads Christmas cheer

Students at Gaelscoil Faithleann have shown their generosity by participating in the annual Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal.
All classes in the school were encouraged to fill shoeboxes with small gifts for underprivileged children in Africa and Eastern Europe.
Over 90 shoeboxes were filled at the school.
School Principal Lisa Ní Iarlaithe said: "It's a wonderful learning experience for our children to support others, and it instills in them a sense of kindness and empathy.”
The Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal is an international charity initiative that aims to bring joy to children who may not receive any other gifts this Christmas. Local coordinator Sheila Rice urged residents to fill shoeboxes with small items like toys, stationery, hygiene products, and sweets. These boxes will be delivered to children in need, spreading hope and happiness during the holiday
