Funding sought for Ballycasheen School traffic improvements

At a recent meeting of Killarney Municipal District, Cllr Martin Grady highlighted the ongoing parking and traffic issues at Ballycasheen National School and called for an update on planned improvements.
In response, a council official confirmed that the school has submitted a planning application to address these concerns. The application includes plans for a new school car park, designated areas for school buses and car drop-offs.
The official noted that the school has received full planning approval for these improvements. However, the implementation of the project depends upon the school securing funding from its designated authority.
