Free weekly folk summer concerts ANAM Centre
A new free concert series, The ANAM Sessions, will begin on Monday July 7 at 7pm in the ANAM Arts Centre on East Avenue Road.
The series will run for over eight consecutive Mondays and will feature local and visiting talent in the Irish folk and traditional music scene.
The opening night will include performances by Tim O’Shea and Friends, with Philip Crickard (Ardfert) on fiddle and mandolin.
Crickard, originally from Carrickfergus and a long-time resident of Kerry, is well known on the local music circuit. He and O’Shea have performed together in Ireland, the US, and Germany.
The concerts aim to promote traditional music and provide a platform for new and emerging artists from Killarney and beyond.
