Several trees have fallen across the main Killarney-Kenmare road in the Muckross area. “There are reports of debris and branches down on many roads,” Owen O'Shea of Kerry County Council confirmed. “The advice remains to stay off the roads and remain indoors until further notice.”
Billy Tangney, Tree Maintenance, told Killarney Advertiser he has had a very busy day, helping ensure the roadway is clear in the Muckross area.
Meanwhile, the Inches to Kilgarvan road had been blocked by fallen tree, while debris has filled the Killarney-Rathmore road.
