Elaine & Aoife Say Thank You
Killarney girls Elaine Doonan and Aoife Cooper would like to say a heartfelt thank you to friends, neighbours and local businesses who contributed to a very successful coffee morning in the Muckross community centre last Sunday. Sunshine, music, coffee, delicious cake and overwhelming community spirit helped to raise a staggering €2700 for the organisation Nurture Africa.
Aoife (a physio ) and Elaine (a nurse) will be travelling to Uganda in October as volunteers with the organisation. All funds raised from the morning will go directly to healthcare and educational projects, helping vulnerable women and children in Uganda. A special thank you to the killarney school of music for the wonderful entertainment on the morning. To those who generously donated towards the day and sponsored raffle prizes, a sincere thank you to all.
