Dr Crokes president’s prize presented to Mike Cooper

CELEBRATIONS were the order of the day at the Dr Crokes GAA Club at the weekend following its golf society’s president’s prize competition. The event, which took place at Kenmare Golf Club last Saturday, saw Mike Cooper win top honours.
Tim Brosnan, president, and Peter O’Brien, captain, together with Pam Brosnan and Niall Brosnan (Niall & Eoin Brosnan Solicitors, sponsor) presented Mike with the overall prize.
In second place was Michael Howard, with Brian Clarke winning third prize and Joey Sheehan, Shane Horgan, and James Jones in fourth, fifth and sixth places respectively.
The category one winner was James Arthur with Brian O’Callaghan as category two winner. Vince Casey wont eh front nine, while Mossie Foley won the back nine and the guest prize went to Conor Brosnan.
