Curtain up on pantomime season in Rathmore

THE talented troupe behind the annual pantomime in Rathmore is word and note-perfect. Rathmore’s Marian Players are staging their 30th annual production, Sleeping Beauty at the community centre in Rathmore. The curtain goes up tomorrow, Saturday, January 28, at 7.30pm. There will be additional night shows on February 1, 2 and 4 at 7.30pm nightly, with a matinee at 3pm on January 29 and February 5. All proceeds will go to the local services of Kerry Parents & Friends Association.

Meanwhile, Killorglin’s 54th pantomime, Robin Hood, is heading to the INEC, Killarney, on Sunday, February 5. The production had a hugely successful sellout run in Killorglin. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster, INEC, on 064-6671555 or the Pantomime Booking office on 066-9790961. Doors open at 4.30pm and the show starts at 5pm.
