Colm Cooper Under 13 Tournament returns

The Colm Cooper Under 13 Tournament makes its return on Saturday, September 13, at Dr Crokes GAA grounds on Lewis Road.
Eight invited teams from across the country will take part, representing Galway, Monaghan, Kildare, Carlow, Cork and Kerry. The blitz-style competition is built around Colm’s famous number 13, with players under 13, teams of 13 a side, and games lasting 13 minutes per half.
The invitational event celebrates clubs with a strong connection to Colm Cooper and Dr Crokes. Proceedings begin at 11.30am and run through until 6pm. Colm, along with members of the Cooper family, will be present throughout the day, with his young sons Conall and Colm Óg also set to attend.
The Coffey family once again sponsor the medals and trophies, while Utility Trust come on board as headline sponsor this year, thanks to James Fleming. Radio Kerry will provide live updates and interviews from Lewis Road.
The tournament promises a full day of skill, speed and camaraderie, and all are welcome to attend.
