Colm Cooper launches Under-13 football tournament

Kerry football legend Colm Cooper has launched his annual Under-13 football tournament, which is set to return on Saturday, September 14. The tournament, is a popular event featuring eight teams from Dublin, Galway, Mayo, Cork, and Kerry.
The competition will be held at Dr. Crokes' home ground in Lewis Road.
A unique aspect of the tournament is its tribute to Colm Cooper's iconic jersey number 13. Teams are made up of 13 players and play 13-minute halves, reflecting Colm's illustrious career with Kerry and Dr. Crokes.
Clubs participating in the tournament have a special connection to Colm or Dr. Crokes, making it a truly special event for all involved. The tournament will kick off at 11:30 am and conclude at 6 pm.
Colm Cooper and his family will be in attendance throughout the day, and this year, his young son, Conall, will also be joining the festivities.
The tournament is sponsored by The Coffey family and Quills Woollen Market. Radio Kerry will be broadcasting live from Dr. Crokes on the day of the event.
