A
A QUARTET of Kerry footballers’ unique take on the TV phenonenon that is Carpool Karaoke proved a huge online hit at the weekend.
Killian Young, Aidan O’Mahony, Marc O Se and Kerry senior captain Bryan Sheehan kicked into melodic action in the style of CBS television host James Corden and his musical guests who sing along to songs while driving in Los Angeles.
The four Kerry seniors, all Renault brand ambassadors, switched the streets of LA for scenic Aghadoe as they posed for the camera of Killarney photographer Don MacMonagle after Donagh Hickey Motors, Rathmore, had taken delivery of the new Renault Megane.
“Don decided he would have a bit of fun to see what a ‘carpool karaoke’ would look like with all the lads in the all-new Renault Megane,” Brian Quinlan of Renault Ireland told the Killarney Advertiser.
“We posted the picture on the Donagh Hickey Facebook page on Saturday and over 24 hours it's reached almost 30,000 people and gained almost 700 likes. We called it Car Pool Kerryoke!”
