Busy year ahead for Fossa Climate Action Group

Fossa Climate Action Group has unveiled its plans for the rest of the year.
The group will mark the Celtic Year with events planned, Bealtaine - April/May, Lughnasadh - July/August, and Samhain - October/November.
Members have already hosted an event to mark Imbolc - January/February.
On January 28 last, the Community Sustainability Fair took place in Fossa Community Hall.
“We wish to thank the wonderful exhibitors, our sponsors, M.D. O' Sheas and Sons, and Killarney Credit Union, and the public for making our Eco Fair a success. €380 was raised on the day through donations and these are greatly appreciated. Thankfully this will help us to cover the costs of advertising, hosting the event, and extra money will go towards our events in the future,” said PRO Diarmuid Griffin.
Their next event will celebrate and highlight the nature we have on Killarney’s doorstep through a series of walk and talk events and workshops.
“Details will be announced closer to the Season of Bealtaine,” added Griffin.
