Barraduff pupils’ design graces Lee Strand homework journals

A young artist from Barraduff National School has had her artwork featured on the cover of 10,000 Lee Strand Homework Journals.
Sara Prieto's winning design was selected from over 1,000 entries submitted by pupils across the region.
The Lee Strand Homework Journals, now in their 13th year, are distributed free of charge to national school pupils in Kerry.
The initiative aims to support local schools and reduce costs for parents.
Gearoid Linnane, CEO of Lee Strand, praised Sara's design and the creativity of all the participating students. He emphasised the company's commitment to supporting the local community and expressed his hope that the journals would be a valuable resource for pupils throughout the academic year.
Sara's winning design reflects her artistic talent and creativity. Her artwork will be featured on the back cover of the journals, which are filled with educational materials, including a weekly diary, timetable, tables book, healthy eating tips, and Irish culture information.
The Lee Strand Homework Journals are printed in full colour with a hardback cover for extra durability. Schools can receive further information by contacting Lee Strand at 066 7121084.
