Autumn talks at Killarney House

THE Garden Room at Killarney House will be the venue for the Autumn Talks Series 2017. The talks take place on Thursday nights, commencing at 8pm and admission is free.
On October 5, award-winning Killarney photographer Valerie O’Sullivans will give a talk entitled People and Places of County Kerry.
The History of Rowing on the Lakes of Killarney is the title of a talk by Donal Hickey on October 1, while on October 19, it sit eh turn of Tim Burkitt who will turn the spotlight on Kerry Deer Society (1967-2017).
The Innisfallen Crosier – A National Treasure from Ireland’s Golden Age is the title of a talk by Griffin Murray on October 26, while on November 2, proactive tree management will be the topic, covered by Michael Garry.
The reintroduction of the white-tailed see eagles to Ireland will be the subject of the talk on November 9, by Dr Allan Mee.
