Arrest made in Miriam Burns murder case

Gardai have arrested a man in his 50s in connection with the death of Miriam Burns.
Ms Burns (75) was found dead in her Ardshanavooley home on August 15 last year.
Gardaí investigating discovered Ms Burns body “in unexplained circumstances” have, today (Wednesday), arrested a man.
He is currently detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 at a Garda station in Cork city.
A Garda spokesperson said that “investigations are ongoing".
