ANAM Arts centre to host Culture Night events

The ANAM Arts and Culture centre on East Avenue is one of the key venues for the county-wide Culture night celebration.
Culture Night - an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity, and the arts – will take place September 22.
Special events are programmed at participating locations throughout the County, and, thanks to the continued support of the Arts Council and Kerry County Council, all activities are free of charge.
One such event will take place in Anam and will give people of all ages a chance to get in touch with their creative side.
Music Generation Kerry will host children workshops with unusual instruments followed by an evening painting workshop for adults facilitated by Arthouse Killarney.
“Culture Night is a very special night throughout Ireland and the events in Kerry play a very important part in showcasing the talented artists, beautiful landscapes, and significant venues that are in our County. I look forward to going out Friday 22 September and celebrating the very best of what we have in Kerry,” said Cathaoirleach of Kerry, Councillor Jim Finucane
