The Michael Linehan Killarney Heartsafe project has been directly responsible for locating 13 of the 16 AEDs in the town.
The life-saving devices are available to the public 24/7.
"These AEDs are located throughout the town and have saved lives," Kevin O'Leary from Killarney Cardiac Response Unit said. "It's important the public are aware that anyone can use these devices in an emergency. Just follow the instructions of ambulance 999 call takers. We all have a role in our heartsafe community."
