‘Voices from the Friary’ charity concert

T
The event will raise funds for the St. Vincent de Paul, St. Brigid’s Conference, Killarney.
The concert will feature the Kerry Scotia Ensemble, soprano Dr Sharon Lyons, and the Kerry Concert Choir.
Attendees can look forward to an evening of classical, choral, and vocal music spanning various genres, from religious pieces to modern pop.
The Kerry Concert Choir will lead the event, blending voices with the strings of the Kerry Scotia Ensemble. Dr Lyons and members of the choir recently performed to enthusiastic audiences in Dublin.
Their performances, which often mix classical styles with a modern touch, have gained them a strong following, with concerts like their recent candlelight shows at Ballyseede Castle selling out.
All money raised from ticket sales and a raffle on the night will go directly to the St. Vincent de Paul, St. Brigid’s Conference in Killarney, which helps people in need in the area.
Tickets for cost €20 and can be bought online through Eventbrite or at the door of The Friary. With expectations of a full house, those interested are encouraged to get their tickets soon to enjoy an evening of music while supporting a worthy cause.
