Fashion show raises vital funds for Hospice expansion
The annual Models in Recovery Fashion Show drew a massive crowd to the Gleneagle Arena on Wednesday night, raising vital funds for the Kerry Hospice Foundation.
Organised by the Killarney Branch of Kerry Hospice, the evening featured female and male models who are all in recovery from various forms of cancer.
Guests arrived to a wine reception before enjoying entertainment from the Liam O'Connor family. Donegal TV personality Noel Cunningham returned as host for the night, keeping the packed audience entertained throughout the show.
Among those taking to the runway was Spa clubman Dan O’Donoghue, a two-time County Senior Football Championship winning captain with East Kerry.
All proceeds from the event will go toward a planned €6.5 million, five-bed extension to the existing hospice unit.
