Chamber brings business leaders together with MEP
Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce welcomed MEP Cynthia Ní Mhurchú to Killarney on Tuesday, this week, for a roundtable discussion with Chamber Executive Committee members and local business leaders to discuss issues of strategic importance to the region's economy and tourism sector.

Held at the Government Offices on New Road, the meeting provided an opportunity for Chamber representatives to engage directly with the Ireland South MEP on a range of matters affecting businesses across Killarney and the wider region.
As a member of the European Parliament's Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) Committee and the Transport and Tourism Committee, Cynthia Ní Mhurchú has responsibility for policy areas that are particularly relevant to Killarney's tourism-led economy. The discussion focused on issues impacting local enterprise, tourism, regional connectivity and future economic development, while highlighting the importance of ensuring that the views of businesses in the South-West are represented at European level.
The roundtable reflected Killarney Chamber's ongoing commitment to engaging with elected representatives at local, national and European level to advocate for the interests of its members and the wider business community.
