Five gold medals for Legacy Elite Cheerleading at Dublin championships
Legacy Elite Cheerleading returned to Killarney with an impressive haul of trophies following their performance at the Future Cheer championships in Dublin on Saturday, January 17.
Competing against teams from across Ireland and the UK, the Killarney-based club secured five first-place titles.
In addition to the gold medals, the athletes earned two bronze trophies and a seventh-place finish in what was the first major competition of the new season.
Club coach Hayley Murphy expressed her pride in the athletes’ performances, noting that the results highlight the hard work put in by the teams during recent months.
The event served as a successful season opener, providing a strong foundation for the year ahead.
There is little time for rest for the local cheerleaders, as they have already returned to training.
The teams are currently preparing for their next major event, which is scheduled to take place in Dublin this coming March.
