Daly's SuperValu celebrates 30th anniversary

Daly’s SuperValu on Park Road celebrated its 30th birthday last Friday with an in-store party. The event, which ran from 11am to 1pm, featured live music, family entertainment, and a two-day half-price sale.
Radio Kerry’s Francis Jones broadcast live from the supermarket, and local suppliers, including Muckross Ice Cream and De Róiste, offered tastings. Customers also had the chance to win spot prizes and giveaways.
The supermarket, which opened in 1995, was originally opened by soccer star Niall Quinn. It was later extended and revamped in 2003 with RTE's Ronan Collins cutting the ribbon
