Martin Grady’s dual role at Road Safety conference
Councillor Martin Grady wore two significant hats at the recent 'Safer Roads' conference held at the INEC.
The local councillor, who also serves as a retained firefighter with Killarney Fire and Rescue, participated in the event hosted by Kerry County Council.
His dual roles allow him to contribute to road safety policy changes at a council level, while also bringing practical knowledge from his experience with fire and rescue services to the discussion.
The conference brought together emergency services and road safety experts to share information and promote road safety education and awareness within the community.
Aaron Fahy and Paudie Mangan of Kerry Fire Service were also in attendance, alongside Councillor Grady.
