Camera Club announces ‘At Night’ competition winner

Killarney Camera Club held its second-to-last competition of the season, with the theme ‘At Night’. Twenty entries were submitted.
Elizabeth Browne won the Novice category with her image titled ‘Ross Castle on a Clear Night.’
She also secured second place in the Unrestricted category with the same photograph.
Browne said she captured the image during a club outing on February 27, around 8:30pm.
She set her tripod low to keep the castle, trees, and their reflections in focus on what was a clear and calm night. She later discovered a light pink aurora was present when reviewing her images. She cropped the image square to highlight the scene's symmetry.
