A new nightclub experience designed for early risers is coming to Killarney. The "30+ Club" will debut at the Gleneagle INEC Arena on May 3, from 5 pm to 9 pm.

Organisers say the event offers a chance to dance for hours, grab a late-night snack, and still wake up refreshed on Sunday morning.
he concept has proven popular in the UK and Ireland, with over 100,000 tickets sold for previous events.
“We have been blown away by the incredible response to these events and we simply can’t keep up with the demand – tickets sell out within days of going on sale,” said organiser Barry O'Kane.
“We’re seeing a really broad range of people coming to us, from those who want to party but still parent the next day, to hen parties, right through to people that haven’t been to a club in 20 years and want to re-live the magic of their youth.”

Celebrations are underway in Killarney after Centra at The Reeks Gateway on Tralee Road sold a EuroMillions ticket worth €1,005,000 in the Friday, August 21 draw.

The lucky winner secured the life-changing sum through the special Ireland Only Raffle event after purchasing a Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw.
Store owner John Bowler, who has operated the shop for over 20 years, expressed his delight after receiving the news from the National Lottery.
“There’s a great buzz around the store and we’re absolutely delighted,” Bowler said. “We have a mix of local customers and visitors coming through our doors every day, so the winner could be anyone. While we’ve sold fantastic prizes over the years, this is by far the biggest. It’s wonderful news for Killarney.”
National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan urged anyone who bought a ticket at the store on Friday to check their numbers carefully. The ticket holder is advised to sign the back of the ticket, keep it safe, and contact the National Lottery prize claims team to arrange collection.
