Classic and Vintage Club drives female involvement
Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club is encouraging female members to join the club and help with its ongoing success.
The club boasts a strong female presence, comprised of both long-time enthusiasts and newer members.
“Our female members are very important to us, keeping the club strong,” said a club chairman Tom Leslie. “They are the glue that keeps it together.”
A recent club gathering at their Lewis Road location provided an opportunity to speak with several female members about their involvement.
Common motivations included childhood exposure to classic cars through family members, a pre-existing interest in vintage vehicles, and the desire to connect with the local community.
The Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club encourages anyone interested in joining to contact Tom at 087 2383809 or John at 087 6950113.
