Young musician dies in tragic road accident
A young musician from Cork, Rory Craig, tragically lost his life in a car accident on Sunday last.
The accident occurred on the N22 Killarney to Cork road near Glenflesk, leading to the closure of the road for several hours.
Mr. Craig, a talented keyboard musician and vocalist, was a former student of the MTU Cork School of Music.
A cremation service was held on Thursday, December, at The Island Crematorium.
Tributes have been paid to the young musician, with many expressing their shock at his untimely passing. The CADA Performing Arts stage school, where Mr. Craig performed in numerous shows, shared a heartfelt tribute on social media.
‘It is with devastating sadness to hear of the tragic death of our beloved former pupil Rory Craig. Rory was a member of the Academy for years. Such a talented, creative, kind person and performer,” said the post.
