Local actress Ciara Carroll made her television debut last night, Thursday, in the highly anticipated RTÉ Storyland production, ‘Did You Read About Erskine Fogarty’?
The film, shot on location in Limerick, is based on Blindboy Boatclub's short story of the same name.
It follows a man who returns to his childhood home with a double-wide American fridge freezer, determined to impress his former neighbours after losing everything in the 2008 economic crash.
Carroll, who is a former student of St. Brigid's and the Michael Fassbender West End School of Acting, shared the screen with renowned actor Robert Sheehan. The show also features Peter Coonan, Siobhan O’Kelly, and a debut performance from Thomas O’Halloran.
