Cronin questions delays in Greenway connections to Fossa Way

Cllr Brendan Cronin, is set to raise concerns at the upcoming Kerry County Council meeting regarding the lack of progress in connecting the Greenway network to the Fossa Way.
Cronin believes that connecting the Greenway to the Fossa Way would significantly enhance the cycling network in the region, providing access to the Lakes of Killarney and popular tourist attractions like Tomies Wood.
At Monday's council meeting, Cronin will ask the council executive the following:
"In light of Kerry County Council's clear support and backing for the construction and development of Greenways in South Kerry and North Kerry, why has no progress been made with connecting the 'Fossa Way' cycle/walkway around the Lakes to Tomies Wood? This important project has been highlighted at Municipal District and Full Council level over a number of years and seems to have been left behind."
