Alliance Medical opens state-of-the-art imaging centre

Alliance Medical celebrated the grand opening of its new diagnostic imaging centre at the Reeks Gateway.
The state-of-the-art facility brings MRI, X-ray, DEXA, and Ultrasound services to the region, significantly boosting healthcare options for Kerry residents.
Although operational since March the official opening only took place this week.
The grand opening ceremony included guest appearances by renowned Kerry and Fossa footballers brothers David and Paudie Clifford.
Councillor Martin Grady, an advocate for improved healthcare access in Killarney, welcomed the opening.
He highlighted the positive impact Alliance Medical's services will have, potentially easing pressure on existing facilities and reducing waiting times.
"This is certainly a step in the right direction," said Councillor Grady. "While I remain committed to advocating for a minor injuries clinic in Killarney, Alliance Medical's arrival is a positive development."
Other local figures such as TD Michael Healy Rae, Mayor of Killarney Maura Healy Rae, and Councillor Brendan Cronin attended the opening ceremony.
The new Alliance Medical centre offers a significant advancement in diagnostic technology for the Kerry region.
