Feathered friend pays a visit

CASTLEISLAND man John Reidy has always been interested in nature and was delighted make the acquaintance of this friendly little robin.
John said: “I thought it was a very special occasion when this robin paid me a visit,” he said. “He had been coming for a while and we have become friends.”
John, who worked in the building trade for many years as a foreman and carpenter, spent the final 187 years of his working life with Killarney Town council.
“I have been always interested in nature and wildlife as i grew up on a farm and I am also an angling enthusiast,” said John who is secretary of the River Maine and Brown Flesk Anglers Association.”
