Celebrations at Avoca Molls Gap

AVOCA MOLLS GAP celebrated 23 years in business on the Ring of Kerry last week and kicked off what looks to be a busy season.
Its summer event proved a hit with locals and visitors alike. Avoca employs over 20 local people in their Molls Gap store and proudly still employs its original manager Eileen O’Leary who first opened Avoca’s doors in May 1993. Avoca has been ranked as one of the world’s most inspiring stores by Retail Week Magazine.
This summer shopping event welcomed over 200 people through their doors on the evening from 6.30pm – 8.30pm. Avoca unveiled its recent in store revamp and showcased Irish designs from their world famous throws, ladies fashion, gifts and excellent food on offer. It had promotions across ladies fashion, men’s and their extensive beauty range on the night. Their head Chef Derek McMahon and his team presented exquisite food in the form of bite size canapés which customers seemed to relish and can be further enjoyed in their fabulous scenic café.
Shoppers enjoyed the hospitality displayed on the night, leaving with Avoca goodie bags. This event proved to be a great success. Exciting new Irish beauty brands launched were that of Voya - certified organic products ad renowned beauty serum by Pestle & Mortar as featured across publications such as Cosmopolitan magazine, Vogue & Vanity Fair.
