Gardai re-directing traffic at the railway bridge near Mill Road on Wednesday morning
The road at White Bridge Manor in Killarney will remain closed for a number of hours following a serious crash there this morning.
Traffic is disrupted in the area and delays are expected.
Gardai are at the scene and are redirecting traffic at the railway bridge and at Ballycasheeen.
Access to Mill Lane is allowed from the White bridge side but through traffic to Woodlawn is not possible at this time.
Woodlawn traffic is being re-directed via St Oliver’s School.
Earlier today one man was taken to Cork University Hospital with serious injuries following a single-car incident. There has been no update on his condition since.
Three fire engines, an ambulance and several Garda cars attended the scene.
The road will remain closed while Gardai carry out scene investigations.
