Gardai investigating church theft release image of suspect
Footage of a man stealing money from a Killarney church has featured on RTE’s Crimeline.
The footage relates to a man who stole around €80 on December 21 last year.
It shows him entering the Franciscan Friary at around 6pm on the day in question and using a tool to open two donation boxes in the church.
The suspect fled the scene when he was confronted.
Gardai have released an image of the man who is described as being of average height, stocky build and with sallow skin.
