Since opening last Friday week, Killarney on Ice has proved to be a hugely popular attraction in Beech Road car park.
The ice rink is open daily from 4pm weekdays and from 11am on Saturdays and Sundays and during the school holidays. It promises to provide great fun for novice beginners or experienced skaters to enjoy the novelty of ice skating along with the festive atmosphere in Killarney.
After an absence of four years, the 600-square metre rink, under marquee, will be open until January 10. The determined effort of the Christmas in Killarney committee along with a “bring back the ice rink” Facebook campaign by local teenagers has yielded success.
Sessions last for one hour and tickets can be booked on-line at www.killarneyomonice.com or at the ice rink box office. For further information and group or company bookings contact Eileen on 085-7400366.
Christmas gift vouchers will be available from the ice rink box office.
