Liz loved Great Gatsby themed hen night
By Michelle Crean
In preparation for the big day it was only fair to have one last hurrah - and Liz Carroll and her gang did that in style.
The well known hairdresser from Gneeveguilla, who works in Fossa, is marrying Mark O'Shaughnessy, a painter from Killarney, in a few weeks time.
But first it was all about the hen - and her family and friends gave her a night she'll never forget in the International Hotel with a 'Great Gatsby' themed do last Saturday night.
"From the moment I stepped into the International Hotel for our meal I was blown away by the glitz and glam of my friends and family for our 1920s theme, everyone went above and beyond," Liz told the Killarney Advertiser.
"My two sisters Brid and Brenda Carroll, sister-in-law-to-be Denise Casey and my cousins Caitriona and Patricia Carroll organised a hen that I will never forget! From 'Murder on the Menu', which was the best fun, to drag queens who came from Cork for the evening, to games and just having the craic, it was amazing!"
