Ukrainians climb Carrauntoohil
Ukrainians living in Killarney took on the challenge of climbing Carrauntoohil for the first time.
“We have to see the edge, in which we are living now. We already know the parks and lakes, Ross castle, Muckross Park and Innisfallen island. Now we are discovering the mountains, ”says Valeria Mashkovska.
The Ukrainians brought a flag with them to capture the moment. All the participants of the mini-expedition were surprised but full of impressions.
The view from a height of 1038 metres was breath-taking.
“Carrauntoohil is my first mountain. I'm out of words,” said Ina Pashchenko.
“Incredible emotions from primordial nature, stunning views and air as transparent and clean as the countless springs flowing into mountain lakes!
“It's love at first sight and forever!
“And our team was very friendly and supportive. I believe that Carrauntoohil is just the beginning and new heights of beautiful Ireland are waiting for us,” said Gandi Islamova.
