On Thursday this week contractors working on behalf of Killarney Municipal District and Killarney Chamber of Tourism and Commerce started erecting green and gold flags and buntings all over the town centre.
The Tree Brothers, better known for their emergency work clearing trees during winter storms were in action on a mobile platform throughout the morning.
Operated by brothers Ger and TJ Brosnan from Faha, The Tree Brothers put their height skills to the test as the turned to town into a sea of green and gold.
They were clearly enjoying their new task and were getting a great reaction for locals and tourists as they went about their decoration job.
“It is great craic,” Ger told the Killarney Advertiser. “Everyone is getting in to the spirit of it – we are in an All-Ireland final – everyone is getting behind the team.”
