Help Kerry Hospice raise vital funding this June

Kerry Hospice Foundation volunteers will be selling sunflower merchandise around the county next month to raise vital funds for the hospice and home care services.
This year's Hospice Sunflower Day will take place on June 10 and 11 and organisers are delighted to be back following a forced break due to the pandemic.
"Our last Sunflower Day on the streets was in 2019 and we are so excited this year that we can go back to normality and meet the wonderful people of Kerry who have supported the services over the last 30 years," Andrea O'Donoghue PRO with the Kerry Hospice Foundation told the Killarney Advertiser.
Hospice Sunflower Days are celebrating 32 years and it's one of Ireland's biggest charity fundraisers.
"Kerry Hospice needs to raise €600,000 a year to support the Specialist Palliative Care Services and the Home Care Services and in the near future fund two nurse prescribers which will benefit the whole county. "Kerry Hospice Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their support over the last number of years and especially over the last two years when COVID restrictions did not allow street collections. A big thank you also to David Moran of the Kerry team who officially launched our Sunflower Day for us."
