Gardaí target ‘boy racer’ activity in Killarney area

A NUMBER of young men pleaded guilty at Killarney District Court yesterday, Tuesday, April 19, in relation to serious motoring offences. These offences were detected in Killarney in recent weeks by Gardaí targeting “boy racer” activity.
Killarney Superintendent Flor Murphy said: “These targeted operations incorporating both high visibility and covert measures will continue up to and including the rally weekend in the Killarney area.
“Anyone found by the Gardaí engaging in this type of activity will be immediately arrested and brought before the courts.”
