Calling all curious wanderers, the stars have aligned, the solstice is coming and so is the Wander Wild festival this March 25, 26 and 27!

Those who love nature and adventure are invited to Wander Wild, the first festival along the Wild Atlantic Way since restrictions were lifted.

Adrenaline filled activities range from conquering Carrauntoohil to hiking adventures, but if you're after more chill than thrill, slide into the weekend with some yin yoga or an invigorating sunrise dip, or why not combine both! There are evening activities to boot; with a film festival, inspiring speakers, craic, ceol and foodie favourites.

The Friday evening line up includes the renowned poet, playwright and novelist Michael Harding who many may have seen on The Late Late Show.

Shane Finn will host his live 'Pushing Limits' podcast. He will be speaking with James McManus who will be attempting to climb Mount Everest this season without supplemental oxygen! If he is successful he will be the first Irish person to do so.

He will also be speaking with Killarney man Kevin Leahy following his incredible success in the 300 mile Montane Ykon Artic Ultra.

On Saturday evening there will be a Wander Wild Hooley with an incredible line up of Irish artists in the Laurels. The craic will be mighty!

There's plenty for families too including guided park cycles, guided pony treks, urban orienteering and much more to choose from.

A Kids Zone located at basecamp in the town centre will include a climbing wall for little adventurers and many other fun activities to do.

"We are also delighted to announce Nature Valley as official snack partners of Wander Wild 2022," Pat Chawke said.

"Lucky for us Nature Valley haven't put the word 'Nature' in their name for the fun of it. They created delicious, handy-sized bars so they would always be there for your outdoors adventures.

"So why not escape the winter and leap into spring with us at Wander Wild 2022. With some events already sold out it's time to get moving and book your space, before it's too late!"
