Students’ delight as they receive Junior Cycle Certs

After a difficult few school years due to lockdowns and online learning, it was certainly a relief for students to receive their certificates this week.
Students of the Junior Cycle Class of 2021 from Killarney Community College were presented with their Department of Education Certificates of Completion and KCC Junior Cycle Assessment Reports.
After a few words from Principal Stella Loughnane and Year Head Jer O'Sullivan, Kerry footballer and teacher David Clifford made the presentations. Students then enjoyed some treats and a chat.
"We would like to congratulate all the students on reaching this stage of their academic life in Killarney Community College," Principal, Stella Loughnane, said.
"These students have been through a difficult and trying time with so much disruption and remote learning due to COVID. They did incredibly well to continue to engage, stay positive and reach such high academic achievements."
