Qi Gong helps locals relax and destress
Locals got a chance to slow down and relax as they took part in a wellness event last Saturday.
A group turned up Killarney House to practice Qi Gong as part of the Kerry Mental Health & Wellbeing Fest.
It was lead by Noreen Tobin, who has just started a new business called Qi Gong Wellness and runs courses in Killarney, Killorglin and online.
"Qi Gong is a slow moving exercise practice which integrates breathing with body exercise," Noreen said. "Its slow movements calm the mind and restore balance to the body."
The practice is suitable for people of all ages and agility and offers people the tools to take care of their own mental and physical health, she added.
"Thanks to Killarney House and Gardens and Killarney National Park for hosting the event in the courtyard."
