A new pay-as-you go car hire service has been launched in Killarney that will allow locals and tourists to rent cars or vans by the hour.

The new GoCar base in Killarney brings the total number of GoCar locations nationally to 641, with over 800 vehicles available to rent by the hour. More vehicles will be added to the Killarney base as demand for the car sharing service grows.
GoCar has confirmed a new location at the Tesco complex on the Deerpark Road.

GoCar allows members to rent cars and vans from just €9 an hour. Registered users can book online or via the GoCar app, then unlock the vehicle either with their phone, GoCar card or Leap Card; the keys are inside the car, with fuel, insurance and city parking all included in the rental price.

For many households GoCar presents a credible alternative to car ownership and is a really cost-effective solution for commuting, shopping trips, staycation travel and more.
