The AED at Daly's SuperValu on Park Road is available 24 hours a day seven days a week for use in an emergency.
Many witnessed the recent Euro 2020 incident in which a player suffered cardiac arrest and was resuscitated using high quality CPR and AED.
"Citizens can provide this same intervention by hands only CPR and utilising an AED," Kevin O'Leary from Killarney Cardiac Response Unit (KCRU) said.
