A well-known local make-up artist is once again using her skills to benefit others.
Annette O'Brien who has won numerous awards for her talents is this year teaming up with a hairdresser and skincare guru and will post three tutorials online to raise funds for Darkness Into Light taking place on May 8.
Last year she raised €2,400 for Pieta House and has so far this year raised almost €1,700 of her €300 target.
"I will showcase an in-depth make-up tutorial of 2021 make-up techniques to help "lift" and give the skin a "glow"," Annette told the Killarney Advertiser.
"I'll teach you the correct way to use your brushes plus tell you all about my favourite products to use for every type of skin."
Along with Annette's tutorial, participants can avail of a fantastic hair tutorial from Audrey of Upstyle Junkie who will showcase two tutorials; an easy upstyle and an easy half up half down style plus tips to get everyone through to the end of this lockdown.
Sherna Malone, skincare guru, will chat about her favourite skincare products and what to do to get skin summer ready.
Donate €15 to avail of the tutorials with the full amount going to Pieta House, Annette explained.
"All three tutorials will be pre-recorded and in a group together for you to access easily from today (Friday) for as long as you want. I'll need an email address to add participants in to it and you can donate via www.idonate.ie/AnnetteOBrienMUA until the end of May."
