This coming Friday (March 6), there’ll be plenty of pots of coffee on the go as one local group is planning a big fundraiser.
The Killarney South Kerry branch of the Irish Cancer Society will hold a coffee morning to raise valuable funds for its service.
The coffee morning will take place at the Towers Hotel from 10.30am to 12.30pm.
Raffles and spot prizes will be available on the day as well as a guest speaker. The money raised will be going towards Night Nurses, their Freephone Helpline, as well as Drive to Care and cancer research.
“Everyone’s invited and we’re looking forward to it,” Eugene O’Sullivan told the Killarney Advertiser.
Daffodil Day also takes place on March 27. Contact Eugene O’Sullivan at 087 6866337 and Eleanor O’Doherty at 086 2388573.
