All credit union members in the locality are invited to call into any of the Killarney Credit Union branches in Killarney, Kenmare and Cahersiveen this week.

Members can drop by on Thursday, February 27, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 to meet staff and find out about their new current account service available from the credit union.

“We are inviting members of the public to call in and find out about our new current account service,” Helen Courtney Power, Business Development Manager with Killarney Credit Union, said.

“We launched last October and to date we have seen great interest; however, we are finding that people have a lot of questions as changing accounts is a big deal for people and we want to help people with this.”

Credit Union Current Accounts offer the same level of functionality that people currently know with their banks such as online banking, mobile App, direct debit, salary payments and debit cards. The monthly fees are low and concessions are available for students and older members.

“In the end, you are supporting a local community based organisation who have the best interests of its members at heart. The credit union is the most trusted brand for the past five years among all the financial services companies in Ireland. Also, you have a chance of winning €250 for opening a current account until the end of February, what’s not to like!”
